Your IEP binder

Everything you have entered in the sheets, your setup and the chapters you marked done, in one place. Export it as a file you keep, import it on another device, or print the whole binder.

For a first pass, four sheets are essential: priorities and the concerns statement (Observations and priorities), the IEP at a glance (Reading the IEP), the meeting notes (In the meeting) and the communication log in the follow-through record (After the meeting). The rest can wait until a chapter asks for them. Your IEP binder puts a one-page summary on top and sets the year's dates.

Storage limitations

Browser storage is convenient and fragile. It is cleared when you clear site data, is empty in private browsing, is not shared between browsers or devices, and can be lost to browser updates or storage limits. Export a copy whenever you have entered something you would hate to lose, and print the sheets you rely on.

What is in your IEP binder

Printable IEP binder

A read-only rendering of every sheet, in contents order, for printing or reading through. Edit each sheet on its own page. Empty sheets are skipped.

Limits

The IEP binder is your own record: your notes of what you saw and heard, your copies of what the school and your state's sources said, and your questions. It is kept in this browser and in the files you export; nothing in it is sent to us or to the school. It is not a legal file, it is not the school's record, and this manual does not say what a hearing would admit or how it would weigh it. Where a sheet records an answer from the school or a state office, the record is yours; the answer is theirs. Keep the original documents separate and unmarked (Your IEP binder).
